Iona Presentation College offers a broad curriculum from Year 8 through to Year 12, emphasizing the pursuit of excellence and academic rigour. In addition to the normal disciplines promoting numeracy, literacy and physical well-being, the College places a high emphasis on information technology, foreign languages, music and the arts. The Curriculum Framework (as specified by the Curriculum Council), immersed in the Catholic spirituality of the Presentation Sisters, forms the basis of the teaching program at the College.


LOWER SCHOOL (Years 8 - 10)

All Students study English, Mathematics, Science, Society & Environment, Religious Education and Physical Education.

In Year 8, all students also study Textiles & Foods, Health Education, and Information Technology, and attend singing classes.
In Year 9, all students attend singing classes and study Health Education.
In Year 10, all students undertake a course in Career and Health Education

Students may also study two or three optional subjects taken from:

A remedial course called Literacy is available to those students who have a difficulty in this area. Challenge Science is available for the very capable students in this area.


UPPER SECONDARY (Years 11 and 12)

The College offers a wide range of courses, preparing students for university, colleges of Technical and Further Education (TAFE), and the workforce. Students study five courses as well as Religious Education and Physical Education.
