Celebrating Halfway Day
On Wednesday 14 June, the Year 12 group celebrated Halfway Day, marking the halfway point in our final year. During the extra period, we participated in a yoga session with our entire year group - a relaxing experience, yet also very entertaining, as the girls tried their best to copy the yoga instructor's poses - not always successfully!
We then moved to Memorial Park for a shared lunch, where we all brought half a plate of food to share with our friends. Some creative takes on the theme of 'halves' were shown here, with girls displaying some whacky half-and-half hairstyles.
Sister Mary popped by to say hello and congratulate us. She was treated to a big 'happy birthday' from all of the Year 12s, plus a birthday cake made Claudia Churack, our Year 12 Representative.
Overall, the day was very enjoyable and definitely lifted the spirits of the graduating class, as it provided us with an extra burst of motivation for the home straight of our school journey, side by side with our beautiful friends and our Class of 2017.
