Sporting

Iona is a member of the Independent Girls' Schools' Sports Association (IGSSA), which offers regular co-curricular sporting competitions. This provides quality sporting opportunities for students participating at different levels of competition in the pursuit of a healthy, active lifestyle.

The IGSSA inter-school competition is played regularly after school hours. Students are driven to matches in the College buses by the Physical Education staff and returned to school at the completion of the match. Students who find it more convenient to travel home from particular sporting venues may do so with parental consent.

Member schools of the IGSSA are: Iona Presentation College, Methodist Ladies' College (MLC), Penrhos College, Perth College, Presbyterian Ladies' College (PLC), Santa Maria College, St Hilda's Anglican School for Girls and St Mary's Anglican Girls' School.
