Kaboom - A musical education with a difference
The team at Kaboom Percussion had our Year 7 girls captivated during their incursion at Iona this week.
Who would have thought cups, sticks and brooms could be so entertaining and fun!
Kaboom is all about making music with very ordinary things, and that is exactly what they did.
"I really liked the way they used all types of cool tricks to make music," said Emma Veldsman.
"You wouldn't think what they were doing was rhythmic, but it really was," said Ella Flatau Harrison.
The team talked about percussion, composition and Mozart. They invited some very enthusiastic girls to assist them on stage and had the crowd laughing out loud during their performances.
