Exploring the North Fremantle School of Early Learning
Children have an innate sense of curiosity and love to explore their surroundings.
This is exactly what children at the North Fremantle School of Early Learning do on a daily basis … they explore!
The Year 12 CFC class recently saw this in action, as they joined Sarah Lovegrove (Past Pupil and Iona Mum) for a tour of the centre.
"What we experienced was just what childhood is supposed to be. With each child exploring their different environments, developing their understanding and expressing themselves as little people," said Mrs Leanne Costa.
"Our students had a wonderful time and learned so much. This beautiful little school certainly inspired awe and wonder in our ladies and it opened up the possibility of working in a child care centre while undertaking further study.
"I have always wanted to become an early childhood teacher/supervisor. Learning about children and their lives, outside our school environment, was a hugely uplifting experience for me. I really enjoyed today and came home with a very passionate idea of what I would like to do when I finish school." Joja Salmone 12 O'Dowling.
"It was good to see the male workers and their interaction with the children. All the spaces looked very beneficial and it was great to see the freedom the children have." Hollie McCubbing 12 Moynihan.
