Year 10 students enjoy Crime Day
Our Year 10 students had an exciting day at Murdoch University recently, as they participated in the inaugural 'Crime Day.'
The day began with the girls witnessing the 'murder' of the Dean of the Law School, Professor Jurgen Brohmer. This was followed by attempts to revive the victim, examining of the scene by police, and the attempts of the media to obtain information about the crime.
In an attempt to locate the killer and bring them to justice, the students examined areas such as Journalism, Criminal Law and Forensics.
It was a great introduction to the University environment for many of our Year 10 students, and an excellent opportunity to promote the study of subjects in the areas of Humanities and Law. Many thanks to Mrs Cheryl Ainsworth and Ms Ioanna Amperiadis for their coordination of the day.
