Year 11 and 12 students move their classrooms to AQWA
The Year 11 Biological Science and Year 12 Integrated Science students moved their classroom to the underwater world of AQWA recently.
The purpose of their excursion was to explore the unique adaptations of marine life and develop an understanding of the fact that humans use scientific classification systems to group living things. Classification is based on many features that may not be visually apparent (i.e. coral).
The students also developed their knowledge of marine animals and how they may use different reproductive strategies at different stages of their life.
