A Robotic Dance Competition
Congratulations Isabella Walsh and Sarah Farquhar, 7 O'Halloran, who came second place in the State RoboCup Secondary Robotic Dance Competition over the weekend.
Known as The Motherboards, the girls used their creative computer programming and robotic engineering knowledge to program their robot to dance to music.
The RoboCup Junior Dance Competition is a stunning integration of Science, Technology and the Arts. Competitors are encouraged to decorate their entries and to motorise robot limb movements, to give their robots real personality.
Isabella and Sarah will compete at the RoboCup Junior Australia National Event in Brisbane in September. Congratulations girls!
