Resurrecting Recycled Artwork
The art studio doors have opened to the happy smiles of enthusiastic young artists.
Students quickly immersed themselves in exploring the process of art assemblage using recycled materials. With an abundance of book boxes available, we embraced the opportunity to give them a new life, transforming them with colour, line and pattern to create their very own “piece of the puzzle”.
Each student selected two pieces of recycled, painted cardboard and added their own creative flair. Individually, each piece is distinctive; together, they form part of a larger collaborative work.
These artworks will be assembled into a vibrant wall installation to be displayed in our school corridors, celebrating creativity, sustainability and teamwork.
