Welcome from the Principal

Principal Anne Pitos

Welcome to Iona Presentation College.

We, in the Iona community, consider it our privilege to be involved in the education of your daughter. We have a reputation as a friendly school and this is obvious when you walk through our campus. When your daughter joins us your whole family becomes part of the Iona community and all that it encompasses.

We strive to provide our students with a well-rounded Christian education in a safe, caring community, encouraging a love of learning that will follow Ionians throughout their life.

Underpinning all that we do is our Presentation ethos, a rich tradition of service and commitment to social justice, which prepares our girls to be life-long proactive and generous citizens of their world. Past Pupils and members of our current community hold close a maxim that defines the educational experience we all work to offer: 'Iona girls make a difference'.

Iona is a Catholic school for girls that, for more than 100 years, has educated young women in the Presentation tradition. Since 1907, Iona has welcomed thousands of girls and fostered an environment of Excellence, Community, Social Justice, Love of Learning, Integrity and Tradition.

Our student numbers are maintained at around 960 students from Years 7-12 and we are pleased to say that our girls come from many areas of the Perth metropolitan area.

There are countless opportunities at Iona to be involved, not only in the everyday curriculum but also through a wide range of sporting, cultural and service activities.

I bid you a warm welcome to our website and invite you to contact the College if you wish to learn more about us.
