Conclusion
Audio: Read by Gemma Thomson, Dean of Mission and Catholic Identity and Past Pupil (Class of 2006).
Now more than ever, as Presentation People, we appreciate that we are standing on the shoulders of the giants who have come before us (the Presentation Sisters). These pioneering, faith-filled women of courage, integrity, justice and compassion, paved the foundation for the outstanding centre of learning that is Iona today; a place from which the Gospel can be spread and a Catholic school that is Christ-centred and student-focused.
We are blessed to be able to capture elements of their legacy at Iona in the Presentation Reflection Walk. As a Presentation faith community, we pray together, ever grateful for the impact the Presentation Sisters have had, and continue to have, on our College community. We are so fortunate to have had such wonderful role models who are an integral and much treasured part of the Iona story. Pro Deo Et Patria, our motto e'er will be.
May God bless you always.
Our Lady of the Presentation … Pray for Us.
Venerable Nano Nagle … Pray for Us.
Thank you for journeying with us on our Presentation Reflection Walk.
May the spirit of Jesus and Nano bless you.
