Senior School Scholarships

Senior School Scholarships for 2019 have now closed. 2020 applications will open in late November 2018, and further information will be available on this page closer to the time.

Scholarship examinations are held at the College in March each year, for entry the following year, and are facilitated by external examiners.

Any student entering Year 7 or Year 10 (including current students) in the following year is eligible to apply.

All girls applying for an Academic Scholarship must sit the examination.

Girls who perform well in their testing will be invited to an interview in early May, with our Principal to assist in the final selection.

Scholarships are awarded based on the interview and results of the Academic Assessment Services Examination. At the interview, the Principal will take into account the student's involvement in her own school and local community.

Candidates will be notified of the outcome in writing by early June, and the award of the scholarship will be announced to the Iona community following acceptance and appropriate consent from the recipient(s).
